Acta Philologica is an open access peer-reviewed interdisciplinary and multicultural academic journal of the University of Warsaw (Faculty of Modern Languages). The journal focuses on theoretical and empirical studies, research results, as well as papers related to new trends and practices in literary and cultural studies within the field of English, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish Studies.
The objective of the journal is to publish disciplinary and/or interdisciplinary, theoretical and/or applied research articles that focus on literatures and cultures and thus Acta Philologica accepts original and unpublished manuscripts in English, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese and Spanish.
The multicultural perspective aimed to bring together researchers who focus on areas of literary and cultural studies and provide a broad cross cultural exploration and subsequent innovation in these areas. The journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence. Accepted manuscripts will be a double-blind peer-reviewed.
